In face and neck liposuction, excess fat deposits are removed using a specialized surgical vacuum known as a cannula. With this device, Dr. Light injects fluid into the chin, neck, jowls, or other targeted areas. The fluid helps break up the excess fat so that it can then be suctioned out easily through the cannula.
