Shawna Oliver

Shawna Oliver serves a dual role as our Patient Care Coordinator and Licensed Clinical Aesthetician. As our Patient Care Coordinator Shawna is your primary contact, assisting you with your questions and most of your initial request. She is very familiar with Dr. Light’s aesthetic sense and can initially assess you and answer many questions; she will become your liaison with Dr. Light overtime.

As our Licensed Clinical Aesthetician, Shawna has extensive experience and expertise in skin care treatment and product recommendations. She makes product and treatment recommendations based on your skin type and condition. Shawna is also an advanced trained Ultherapist and provides outstanding result using the Ultherapy technology here in our office. Shawna is a graduate of St. John’s School of Esthetics in Huntsville, Alabama. She studied Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is married, has three boys and enjoys music, singing, photography and all things sports.

Beth Belcher, RN BSN

Beth, a native of Decatur, graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Beth joined our practice in 2010 working closely with Dr. Light, assisting with patient consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and in office procedures. In addition to her working alongside of Dr. Light, Beth has expertise in skin care, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Beth collaborates with our team to develop a comprehensive care plan to address all of her patient’s needs.

Beth is married and has two boys. Beth enjoys exercising, Penn State football, being with her bible study group, but most of all spending time with her family.


Kendal Moores, RN BSN

Kendal graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She went to work at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee in the Neonatal ICU. She later moved to Mobile, Alabama and continued her nursing career at University of South Alabama Medical Center in the Neonatal and Pediatric ICU. In 1990 she moved to Miami to attend graduate school and further her nursing career as the Nurse Administrator at Charter Behavioral Psychiatric Hospital. Kendal returned to her hometown of Decatur in 2003 with her husband of 12 years to raise her young family.

She joined Light Facial Plastic Surgery in 2008 as our Laser Specialist. Her expertise in lasers includes vein treatment, brown spot treatment, hair removal, CoolSculpting, and skin resurfacing. Kendal’s knowledge and expertise with our skin care lines and collaboration with team members helps to provide a comprehensive approach to meeting her patient’s needs. Kendal enjoys exercising, reading, college football and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
